THE PROJECT
A new apartment complex comprising of 37 studio apartments and 37 dementia studios over three floors. The luxury build care home includes three communities of secure dementia accommodation and associated communal areas, and assisted living studios. The care home was constructed using brick and block work, pre-cast planks with a small steel frame support. The timber roof incorporated GRP dormer windows in the roof space which were built off site. The project included the construction of a new cinema, restaurant, hair salon, activity room, lounge, family, and quiet room to support the assisted living facilities.
A dedicated project team member was used to work directly on finishes and snagging to ensure quality was maintained at all times. The team collaborated with Signature to maintain an open and honest relationship while managing the costs.
